Inspiralia and Evris support for EU grant application

Posted by Seafood IQ

After a great meeting with Evris and Inspiralia, we have decided to go forward and work with them towards the Horizon 2020 program by the European Commission, specifically the SME instrument.

Last spring after speaking with AURORA SEAFOOD in Iceland that had been very successful in working with the European Commission, and after speaking with Evris which incidentally has an office next to us in the Iceland Ocean Cluster, we felt that our project has all the right features and merits to fit into the H2020 program.

In a stroke of good luck, Inspiralia was in Iceland at the same time our team was researching the program and after meeting them with Evris, we felt we had a great match.

Together we will introduce the Seafood Trace program into the H2020 program and we feel very strongly that this will be taken very seriously by the European Commission.

We expect the process to take up to a year before our Phase 1 application has been submitted and the results to come in but the team has taken the decision to dedicate time and resources towards working on this project.

It is our belief that the process Seafood IQ goes through in applying for the SME Instrument is so rigorous that the company will come out at the other end stronger than before.
